It has been hard to get dressed in the morning (or even get out of bed) in this chilly weather we are having in California (gah, east coasters don’t hate!). I’ve been wearing mostly dark cords and long tees all week. Over the weekend, went on a last minute dinner with the BF, my sister and her husband and decided to step up! Most of my outfit is Anthropologie (tee, skirt, socks) but my new favorite cardigan is from Madewell.

The BF and I have many traditions. Every year we go to the Bridge School Concert at the Shoreline in Mountain View to watch the acoustic performances of well-known singers and support a school for special children. This year was the 25th year and the line-up was astounding (Eddie Vedder, Norah Jones, Dave Matthews to name a few). We took a ton of videos but not so many pictures.

It was pretty toasty during the day (hence the sandals) but the concert went straight into the night so I wore a tea-length skirt from Anthro that I bought in Vegas.
I’m going to need someone to teach me how to post a video on my website because I got the most amazing video of Dave Matthews singing “You and Me”.
I purchased this gorgeous blue skirt from Anthro recently. It’s the perfect addition for Fall weather. I wore it to SF the other week but surprisingly the City was pretty hot so I hiked up my skirt for most of the day. At night, it was absolutely perfect! Expect to see this skirt in future posts!
The past weekend my friends (and BF) and I headed to party it up in Vegas. I haven’t been there in five years (wasting my youth! gah) and now I can’t wait to go back! The trip was a really great break from the real world but now that I am back, time to post some pics.

Remembering in the beginning of the year the BF had made a bet with me that I wouldn’t wear these Topshop over-the-knee leather boots more than 20 times in 5 years. I wanted to wear it 20 times in one year but since it’s already October I don’t think it’s really happening! Actually, I’m not even half way there haha.
I wore my boots for the fourth time this year on my 2-ahem something birthday this past week. The BF took me to one of our favorite restaurants where we feasted on hummus and lamb. Wearing Cynthia Steffe silk dress, Free People necklace, Topshop earrings and boots and my sparkly Swarvoski ring.
The BF and I took my nephew, sisters and company to California Academy of Science a few weeks ago. We’re members so we got into the museum an hour early and caught the penguin feeding. It was a ton of fun with the people I love!
I’m a big fan of loose fitting clothes. The style invokes a Mary-Kate and Ashley image in my head. I wouldn’t say they are my style icons (sometimes they wear the weirdest things and their new Row bag that cost $39K?? ridiculous) but I do admire how they always look so dang comfortable.
I wore my Free People dress with gifted boots, Top Shop bag and BR belt.
Hi guys. I know. I’m a bad bad blogger. I cut off months ago for many reasons but mainly I lost inspiration. I also felt a lot of pressure to have new things to show on the blog and I was at a point at my life where I had to really bite down and start saving some mula for the next big purchases in my life. But the fact of the matter is, I still love to blog so I’m back! Or gradually, I am back =D
The BF and I went to Bodega Bay recently and we took some snaps by the coast.

Remember at the beginning of the Fall 2010 season one of the most popular items was lace booties? They are still very much in fashion however as Spring is approaching retailers are starting to put these puppies on sale. I knew from the beginning I wanted lace booties in wedge instead of heel and finally found ‘the ones’ on Urban Outfitters for $40!! I found a coupon for extra 20% off my whole purchase so it was really a great deal.
Today I took the BF to watch the ballet Swan Lake at the local theater. Incredibly majestic and beautiful, the show was everything I thought it was going to be and a great way to spend a cold Saturday afternoon. I put on my new pairs of shoes and off we went to the ballet.

The BF and I went on a 3-day trip down to middle of California to celebrate our 3-years anniversary. Even though it was raining all weekend there were moments of sun rays peeking through the clouds hitting the green rolling hills that completely took my breath away.
I had a fever right before leaving for the trip so on the morning of I packed in a rush and forgot to pack my deodorant, PJ’s, and undies (to list a few). We stopped by the Gilroy outlets to pick up undies but the outfits I stuffed in my bag I realize later were reflective of my mood: grays, blacks, etc. Here are some pics:
